The End of October

Halloween is huge at the Embassy. Almost everyone seems to get into the decorating and costume experience.

Kids from an orphanage were also invited for trick-o-treating.

Decorations at one of the sections, which was decorated with a 1970s disco theme.

Mrs. Globetrotter tried a new cookie recipe. Together with some guests over the weekend, we polished them off.

She has also tried her hand at making edible vegetable and fruit baskets.

For some reason, this website like to rotate random food photos. Someday I'll figure out why....

We made an excursion to the botanical gardens in town. Its a very relaxing place to go for a long walk and enjoy some nature. Perhaps we'll go back again before too long.

Outside the park, boys were doing stunts on bicycles. It reminded me of the BMX bike I got for Christmas when I was a lad.

Thousands of residents participated in the annual worldwide Nike 10K Human Race. Dozens of people from work signed up. Despite being sore afterwards, I enjoyed the run, my first 10K at 9,000 feet.
